Description

This hand-painted porcelain figurine, titled "Pearls and Emeralds," reflects the aesthetic characteristics of the Art Deco period. The sculpture features a slender figure in a stylised black gown accented by gold-tone bands and green circular motifs. The figure is adorned with strings of white beads. The base contains the inscription "Pearls and Emeralds" and bears the printed mark of the "House of Erté" and "The Franklin Mint." It is identified as a Limited Edition, No. N 4940. A physical sticker on the underside indicates the item was crafted in Malaysia.
