Early 20th Century Oak Serving Trolley with Galleried Tiers
£475Subject to availability

Description
This antique serving trolley presents a clean-lined, utilitarian aesthetic that bridges the gap between Edwardian tradition and early modernism. The most eye-catching feature is the dual-tiered design, both of which are finished with a subtle raised gallery edge to ensure the safe transport of glassware and tea services across a room.
Constructed for mobility and strength, the trolley features four square-section uprights that terminate in a slight outward flare at the base. Functionally, it is equipped with a second lower shelf for additional storage and original 360-degree swivelling castors, allowing for effortless movement in tight domestic spaces.
The oak exhibits a deep, uniform dark-brown finish that accentuates the dense, straight grain typical of the period. The minimalist hardware is limited to the original brass castor housings, which provide a delicate metallic contrast to the substantial darkened timber of the frame.
